Crushed wheat, olive oil, lime extract, parsely, mint and finely chopped vegetables are the basic ingredients that make the Tabbouleh, as fresh as the hilly slopes of Lebanon.

Ingredients

Tabbouleh
1 cup broken wheat (to be soaked in warm water for 20 minutes)
2 cups cherry tomatoes chopped
1 cup parsley
1 cup salad cucumber
½ cup spring onion
1 cup mint leaves
½ lime extract
1 teaspoon salt
Pepper powder as required.
Olive oil

Fattoush
1 bunch Romaine lettuce
1 cup tomatoes (chopped into small square pieces)
1 cup tomatoes (chopped lengthwise)
1 cup salad cucumber
1 cup finely chopped big onions
1 cup spring onion
1 cup parsley (finely chopped)
½ cup black olives (finely chopped)
1 cup roasted pitta bread

Salad dressing
1 tablespoon dil leaves (chathakuppa) finely chopped
4 tablespoon curds
1 tablespoon sesame paste
½ lime extract
Salt as required
