Easy Stove Top Vegan Mac and Cheese Recipe
1/2 can chickpeas
1/2 tbs vegan mayo
1/2 cup cashew milk
2 tbs nutritional yeast
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp fine sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 cups cooked pasta )macaroni, shells, corkscrews or your fav)
Add all ingredients to a food processor except pasta
Pulse until cheese sauce is smooth
Add cooked pasta to a sauce pan
Pour cheese sauce over pasta
Stir and coat evenly
Heat on medium low for 5-6 mins or until sauce thickens
Plate and enjoy!
