Red Sauce Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • Penny Pasta – 1 cup or 250 gm
  • Water for boiling pasta
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped garlic – 1 Tablespoon
  • Boiled tomatoes puree – 4
  • Green chillies – 2
  • Black pepper – half teaspoon
  • Green chilli sauce – 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Tomato sauce (ketchup) – 2 tablespoon
  • Italian seasoning – 1 tablespoon
  • Red chilli flakes – 1 teaspoon
  • oil – 2 tablespoon

Instructions

1. Boil 3 cups of water.Add half teaspoon salt and few oil drops.
2. Add pasta and cook as per packet instruction (approx 12 mins).
3. Once cook remove excess water and add some normal water.
5. In another Pan add oil.
6. Add garlic and boiled tomato puree, cook for 2 minutes.
7. Add green chillies, salt to taste, black papper, green chilli sauce, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
8. Add tomato sauce, italian seasoning, red chilli flakes and boiled pasta.
9. Mix and cook for 2 minutes and serve hot.

 

Healthy Chicken Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 gms. Chicken (bone-in chicken)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables of your choice (carrot, potatoes, peas, french beans etc.)
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger shredded/grated/paste
  • 1 tsp. Oil
  • Spices
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Peppercorns
  • 2 Small Cinnamon sticks
  • 3-4 cloves
  • Fresh herbs (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Add vegetables, chicken, salt, cinnamon stick and few peppercorns in a pressure cooker. Pour enough water (3 to 4 glasses) and cook for 3 whistles.
2. Heat a deep pan with oil and sauté the rest of the spices along with ginger.
3. Add carrots, beans and fry for a minute and cook until the carrots are cooked.
4. Drain off the stock to the pan and set aside the chicken.
5. Shred the chicken and add it back to the pan

Mouthwatering Spanish Omelette | How to Make Potato Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium sized potatoes
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt

Instruction

1. To make the Spanish omelette, peel the three potatoes and then cut them in half, then into even quarters.
2. Slice the potatoes so that they are approx. 1cm thick. If they are too thin, they will over cook and if they are too thick, they will undercook, so this part is very important!
3. Put a medium size deep fry pan on the stove at a low heat. Add a generous serve of extra virgin olive oil and leave to warm up.
4. Once the oil is nice and warm, add the slice potatoes in and leave to simmer for up to 5 minutes.
5. Peel the onion and slice it into thin strips then add these to the pan also.
6. Leave the potato and onion to cook through until they start to soften.
7. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk 5 eggs really well.
8. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and carefully move the mixture around using a spatula so that the egg gets through.
9. Keep moving the mixture for the Spanish omelette around sightly and ensure the edges are not stuck to the side of the pan by slightly sliding the spatula down and around he whole tortilla.
10. Leave it to cook for around 10 minutes.
11. Get a large, flat dish and lay it down over the top of the fry pan. Holding the fry pan in one hand and placing your hand flat on top of the bottom of the dish, flip the pan so the Spanish omelette falls on to the dish and the pan is empty.
12. Transfer the raw side if the Spanish omelette onto the pan and leave to cook for another 10 or so minutes (depending on your preference).
