INGREDIENTS

  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3-4 tablespoons of oats
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 cup berries of choice

Instruction

  1.  Add oats to blender and pulse until finely milled
  2. Add ice, banana, berries, and almond milk
  3. Blend
  4. Add coconut oil into blender while still blending ** coconut oil is healthiest in its raw form, so feel free to add it solid. If you choose to melt your coconut oil, which I prefer, it is best to warm the jar in a bowl of warm water, however you can also microwave for a short 10 seconds*

For Salad:

  • Spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 Lettuce, roughly chopped
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tomato deseeded and thinly sliced
  • Chicken, boiled in salt water for 8-10 minutes

For Dressing:

  • Olive Oil
  • Honey
  • Mustard
  • Curry Powder
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Instructions

1. Add all the vegetables and chicken to a bowl.
2. In another bowl mix all the dressing ingredients well and make a dressing.
3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and the chicken and toss well.

Ingredients:

  • 250 gms. Chicken (bone-in chicken)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables of your chocice (carrot, potatoes, peas,french beans etc.)
  • Few tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. Ginger shredded/grated/paste
  • 1 tsp. Oil
  • Spices
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Peppercorns
  • 2 Small Cinnamon sticks
  • 3-4 cloves
  • Fresh herbs (for garnish)

Instruction

  1. Add vegetables, chicken, salt, cinnamon stick and few peppercorns to a pressure cooker. Pour enough water (3 to 4 glasses) and cook for 3 whistles.
  2. Heat a deep pan with oil and sauté the rest of the spices along with ginger.
  3. Add carrots, beans and fry for a minute and cook until the carrots are cooked.
  4. Drain off the stock to the pan and set aside the chicken.
  5.  Shred the chicken and add it back to the pan.
  6. Finally Squeeze in the lemon juice and add pepper powder.
  7.  Serve chicken soup piping hot.
