Vegan Apple Cobbler with Cloves and Allspice

- 3 large or 4 medium apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 cup + 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup flour
Gather the ingredients. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
rease a nine-inch pie pan with cooking oil or margarine.
Peel and core the apples and cut them into thin slices into the pan.
Sprinkle the cloves, allspice, and nutmeg, plus 1 teaspoon of sugar, over the apples.
Melt the margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add the flour and the remaining sugar to the margarine in the sauce and stir until combined.
prinkle the flour mixture onto the apples in the pan.
Bake the apple cobbler for 20 to 30 minutes or until the crust is lightly browned.
Serve warm with vegan ice cream on top.
