Garlic Butter Shrimp Recipe


  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • lemon wedges for serving


  1. Toss shrimp with lemon zest and salt & pepper to taste.
  2. In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add shrimp and cook 1 minute.
  4. Flip over, add butter and cook 2-3 minutes more or just until cooked through.
  5. Remove pan from heat and sprinkle with parsley.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.
